PASCO, Wash. - The City of Pasco is offering classes on technology for people 50 or older. Tuesday's course helped users learn some of the different things cell phones can do.
Next week there's a class on using e-mail, and the week after that it's Facebook.
A local business owner who focuses on senior citizens runs the classes.
Owner John Schweiter said, "What we specialize in at Johnny On The Spot Technology is helping seniors and everyday consumers with their technology, making it easy for them, so its not above their head. We don't sell anything we just help people use their technology."
To register for future classes, call the Pasco Senior Center at 545-3459, or go to the Pasco Parks and Recreation website here.
