New Company in Downtown Yakima Helping Local Businesses Grow

YAKIMA, Wash.-- A new business in Downtown Yakima may have caught your eye recently.

The Mean Girls just opened its doors on North Third Street a few weeks ago.

The company dubs itself a hybrid engagement agency that specializes in helping companies grow through advertising, social media and a variety of other outlets.

With another office in Las Vegas, The Mean Girls CEO was born and raised in Yakima, and wanted to open an location locally to help the city grow.

"The exciting part for me is being able to have an office and really contribute to kind of the revitalization of Yakima's downtown core," said Krista Whitley-Castellarin, CEO of The Mean Girls.

The Means Girls has been working with Belu Salon in Yakima for about eight months now and have helped them grow their business by 40%.
