Report: Kaufman to Enter NFL Draft

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Brandon Kaufman appears to be the latest Eagle to skip his senior year at Eastern Washington to enter the NFL Draft.  Neil Straton of insidetheleague.com was the first to report that Kaufman has decided to skip his senior season to enter the draft.  He has signed with Seattle-based Foster and Easley Sports to represent him.  SWX has reached out to agent Cameron Foster for comment but has not heard back.

Taiwan Jones decided to forego his senior season at Eastern in 2010 after the Eagles won the FCS National Championship.  He was then drafted by the Oakland Raiders.  Kaufman has skills that could translate well in the NFL, listed officially at 6'5" and setting an FCS record with 1850 yards this past season.
