Camp Prime Time Raises Enough Money for New Lodge

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- Camp Prime Time has finally raised enough money to complete a new lodge.

Volunteers at the camp for seriously ill and disabled children have worked for several years to finish the one-and-a-half million dollar project.

A private donation of 31,000 dollars finally put them over the top.

The camp plans to start construction in the spring and finish the lodge by mid-summer.

"It's nice, it's... It's just what these families need to have a relaxing and fun time, and it'll be built durable," said Ralph Berthon with Camp Prime Time.

The camp also broke a record with their Christmas tree chipping event earlier this month raising more than 15,000 dollars.

The camp is still taking donations for both the lodge and their day-to-day operations. You can do that here.
