PASCO, Wash. - Pasco High School DECA is one of the top 26 high schools throughout the U.S. and Canada to receive a grant to promote safe driving.
Project Ignition, a schools-led program that links academic goals to address the issue of teen driver
safety through service learning, awarded DECA with the $2,000 grant.
The grant will support Pasco DECA's "Don't
Wreck your Text" campaign, which aims to educate high school students and
members of the community about the dangers of texting and driving.
