Multiple people injured in Lone Star College shooting in Houston
HOUSTON, Texas - A college campus in Texas is on lockdown after reports of a shooter on campus.
The Lone Star College System alerted students and faculty on its north Harris County campus to take immediate shelter and avoid the campus this morning.
A spokesman says multiple people are injured and there are paramedics attending to people on stretchers. Paramedics have taken at least one person to the hospital in an ambulance.
Administrators have now evacuated the school, and officers have led people off campus to safety.
Authorities say police have one person in custody, but officers haven't said yet if that person is the suspected shooter. Law enforcement officers say they are still looking for a possible second suspect who left the scene.
