KENNEWICK, Wash. -The economic forecast for the Tri-Cities remains and sunny and warmer.
More than 300 of the region's top business leaders showed up Thursday at the Three Rivers Convention Center to get a snapshot of what experts believe is going to happen in the Tri-Cities economy.
"We've clearly had a hiccup or two with downsizing at Hanford," says Carl Adrian, president of TRIDEC, "but if you look at other sectors of the economy, all our growing."
Despite the downsizing at Hanford, Adrian says experts believe the economy will continue to grow, but just not as fast.
"The community can't sustain the growth it has been experiencing the last five to ten years," Adrian says.
