KENNEWICK, Wash. - Looking for some new digs? A new apartment complex in Kennewick celebrated their grand opening Thursday.
The Copper Ridge Apartments offer a variety of floor plans with one, two or three bedroom spaces and one or two bathrooms.
The nearly $10 million complex has more than 200 units with some still available and it's located in one of Kennewick's fastest growing neighborhoods.
"It's always great to have a diversity of housing options available. Of course, that area is so attractive because there's the commercial mix, there's exciting new restaurants a lots of amenities with our Southridge pavilion and complex," said Evelyn Lusignan with the city of Kennewick.
She also said there's more room to grow in the Southridge area. Thanks to these kinds of projects, the city gets $500,000 a year through the state's Local Revitalization Financing program to reinvest into the area's infrastructure.
