Overview of Position:
Are you on the web a
lot? Do you like to know ‘news' before
everyone else does? Central Coast News
has a job for you! We are looking for a Web producer that can post stories and
work side by side with producers, reporters and managers in a newsroom setting.
You must understand the importance of
growing a facebook fan base and twitter.
Essential Job Duties:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the
following
- Post stories to different media platforms
- Have a understanding of Television News
- Be camera ready to go on air
- Ability to fill in for Social Media Engagement
Director
- Understand basics of web design
Required Skills/Education/Certification:
- College Degree in Web Design or Journalism
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Understand news video exists on three screens
(TV, Internet & Mobile)
- Great attitude and leadership skills
