Eastern Washington wide receiver Brandon Kaufman is a little closer to getting a shot at the NFL. The two-time All-American was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

The combine will be Feb. 20-26 in Indianapolis.

Kaufman is currently training in Florida with speed, strength and conditioning coach Tom Shaw at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. He joins former Eagles Greg Herd and Zach Johnson at the training facility.

Kaufman, who opted to skip his senior season, is the seventh Eastern Washington player in 11 years to be invited to participate in the annual combine. The NFL draft is April 25-27.
