SPOKANE, Wash. – Following a week in which three of the top-five teams in the last D3hoops.com men's top-25 poll lost, Whitworth has moved up one spot to third in this week's poll.

The Pirates improved to 18-1 overall and 10-0 in the NWC with their 17th and 18th consecutive victories last weekend at Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran.  The 18-game winning streak is the third-longest in school history.

Rochester (18-0) moved into the top spot in the poll for the first time this season.  St. Thomas (18-1) dropped from first to second after suffering its first loss of the year last Monday.  Previous #3 Middlebury fell to sixth this week.

Whitworth will put its national rating on the line when the Pirates take on Lewis & Clark (13-6, 7-3 NWC – 2nd place) on Friday night in the Fieldhouse at 8:00 pm.
