
SPOKANE, WA -- The St. George's Dragons continue their winning ways as they took down the defending 2B State Champions, Colfax, 51-47 in the 2B District 7 Tournament to claim the number one seed to sub-regionals.
The Dragons were led by Dexter Sienko's team-high 18 points and Erik Muelheims added 12. The Bulldogs were paced by Montana bound senior Brandon Gfeller's game-high 19 points.
With the win, St. George's improves to 22-1 on the season, while Colfax drops to 17-6.
In the Girls 2B District 7 Tournament, the Reardan girls held off Northwest Christian 65-49. Arizona State bound, Kelsey Moos taking over the ballgame with a game-high 36-points. Treasure Farmer led the Crusaders with 15 points.
