Yakima School District Looking for Public Input on Davis Project

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Yakima School District Board of Directors is inviting people to hear more about the current construction at Davis High School.

It's been a controversial project after district officials cut renovations to the performing arts building to stay under budget.

Officials say they still hope to do some work in that building with any leftover money.

"We don't know how much money's going to be left to be able to do this project, to be able to put into this project. We want to make sure we know what those priorities are going forward," said John Vornbrock, vice president of the Yakima School District's Board of Directors.

The forum is Tuesday night at 6:30pm at the school district Resource Center. Anyone is welcome to attend.
