Thousands Danced at the Popular Father Daughter Ball in Pasco

PASCO, Wash.-- Thousands of dads and daughters danced the night away this weekend at the TRAC in Pasco for the 17th annual Father Daughter Ball.

This year's theme was Hillbilly Hoedown.

The event, put on by the Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities, is open to all ages and included a band, line dancing and hillbilly themed pictures.

"It's highly anticipated. I get phone calls from people as early as March. So like the month after the ball is over, people want to know what's the theme for next year, when's it going to be next year. They look forward to this," said Renae Quigley, event organizer.

Daddy daughter groups enjoyed the ball Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Organizers said 5,000 people attended the festivities this year.
