RICHLAND, Wash. - WSU Tri-Cities welcomed their second chancellor candidate to campus Monday afternoon.

Dr. Ronald Brown is a Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

The school enrolls about 32,000 students and he says he thinks the future of WSUTC looks bright

"Mathematic, science, engineering, the wine industry, wine sciences. I think it's going to be a great area for sustainable energy. It's an important area in bio fuels.  I think this is where it's going to happen," Brown said.

Brown is the second candidate to meet the students and staff at the Richland campus.

The third candidate's name has not yet been announced but they are scheduled for a meet and greet on February 28th.
