PASCO, Wash.-- The embezzlement case against Connell's mayor pro tem Monica Pruett will be delayed until this fall.
Pruett faced a judge again Tuesday in Franklin County court in a pretrial hearing.
Prosecutors say Pruett embezzled more than $150,000 from a farm in Mesa where she worked as a bookkeeper.
The judge granted Pruett a later trial date because of the complex nature of the case and the extensive amount of paperwork involved.
