KENNEWICK, Wash. - Love is in the air and one couple in the Tri-Cities is sharing the love this Valentine's Day.
The KEY 98.3 and the Columbia Center Mall teamed up in a Valentine contest. Couples from the Mid-Columbia were asked to submit a romantic photo of themselves. Those pictures were posted on the KEY's website and voting went viral. The page got more than 10,000 views.
Now, the winners of Love2Win are giving away their prizes.
"My husband works at Lampson and they're a really tight knit little community and we discovered there was a little one sick. She's battling leukemia. She's three-years-old and she's fighting for her life. So we decided this would go to that family," said winner Ashley Mathews.
The Mathews' prizes were a $300 gift card, a diamond bracelet and a couple's makeover from JC Penny. All those gifts will go to a little girl named Mazie now.
