YAKIMA, Wash.-- Valentine's Day is
obviously a busy day for florists. In fact, many of them consider it their Black
Friday.
It was a very busy morning at the Bella Fiore
Flower Shop in Yakima.
They tell us Valentine's Day is one of
their two busiest days.
They say they've shipped at least 300
orders of flowers this year.
They also received nearly half their
orders right on Valentines Day, so it can be a stressful time.
"We have, you know, numerous
walk-ins throughout the day all looking for a last minute gift, flowers or what
have you," says Bella Fiore Owner Donnie Tongate.
Many flower shops also diversify with
chocolates and stuffed animals for the Valentine's Day holiday.
The shop says Mother's Day is their second busiest day of the year.
