NBC Right Now- An aspiring actress from Pasco lands herself in Hollywood and on the big screen.
NBC Right Now caught up with the talented Raquael Torres via facetime Thursday before she hit the red carpet for her big movie premiere.
The 2008 Pasco High School graduate book a role in the feature film "21 & Over" from the writers of "The Hang Over".
Filmed in Seattle, Torres plays the role of a crazy latina sorority girl.
It only took casting directors one look to land her the role.
She said it was Pasco High's Theatre Program that sealed her fate to purse a career in acting.
"To finally be here and about to walk the red carpet in my designer dress is just phenomenal. I just can't picture anything else in the world that I'd rather be doing than this right now. It's honestly thanks to my hometown and my home state because if it wasn't for Washington "21 and Over" wouldn't be filmed either," said Torres.
