KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Students at Kennewick's Sunset View Elementary jumped all day for the American Heart Association's jump rope for heart program.
Five-time jump rope world champion Rene Bibaud taught kids jump rope tricks to encourage them to live a heart-healthy life.
"Jumping rope is a wonderful tool for staying in shape, agility, timing, coordination, foot speed, endurance. So my goal is to help these kids make a positive connection with physical activity," Bibaud said.
The jump rope clinic ran all day Friday.
Since 2001, the school has raised more than $130,000 for the cause.
