Man Resisting Arrest Injures Two Police Officers

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Two Kennewick Police officers are hurt while checking into reports of a man who was yelling and acting erratically in public.

Callers reported the man late Saturday morning in the area of the 3000 block of 4th Avenue.

They said he was yelling and walking around with only shorts on.

Police attempted to arrest him after discovering 36-year-old Cory Bromley had warrants.

That's when Bromely turned violent.

The two officers were treated for minor injuries.

Bromley was booked into the Benton County Jail.
