Arrest Made After Shooting In Lewiston

Lewiston Police Department Press Release:

On 3/2/13 at approximately 0330 hours the Lewiston Police Department responded to 3430 11th Street in reference to a gunshot victim.  When officers arrived on scene they found 24 year old Christine M. Talbott had been shot in the left leg one time. 

During the investigation, it was found that Talbott and her boyfriend, Derrick Quigley had been involved in a dispute which led to Talbott being shot in the leg.  

Talbott was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph's Medical Center, where she was later air lifted to Kootenai Medical Center for surgery. 

Quigley was interviewed by detectives and subsequently arrested for aggravated battery and taken to the Nez Perce County Detention Center. Theinvestigation into the shooting is continuing by the Lewiston Police Department.

    VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A Michigan school district is warning parents that someone driving an unmarked school bus tried picking up children Thursday in several neighborhoods. Van Buren Public Schools quickly alerted parents about the incident. “Do not allow your students to approach any bus not clearly marked with Van Buren Public Schools on it,” reads the statement posted by Pam Johnson, administrative assistant to the superintendent.
