Construction Begins Soon on New Franklin Park Pavilion

YAKIMA, Wash.--Construction is set to begin next week on a brand new pavilion at Franklin Park in Yakima.

The Yakima Sunrise Rotary Club is covering the entire cost of the project, which is expected to be around $200,000.

The pavilion will serve as a place for picnics and community events. It will also be used as a stage for the city's summer concert series.
