Local Safeway Stores Raise $15,000 for Cancer Center

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Richland and Kennewick Safeway stores presented a $15,000 check Friday to the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation.

Every year the stores raise money through their October Breast Cancer Awareness campaign to donate to the foundation.

Funds raised go toward breast cancer awareness efforts, including no-cost screenings and breast health education in the community.
