YAKIMA, Wash.-- A senior living facility in Yakima is cleaning up after fire sprinklers flooded two rooms. It happened at Providence House, on the 300 block of North Fourth Street around 7pm, Tuesday night. Crews responded to a fire alarm at the building. When they arrived they didn't find any flames, but they did discover lots of water coming from an overhead sprinkler system. Crews say heating equipment in the closet was too close to the sprinklers.They estimate about $10,000 in damage. The owner helped relocate the affected residents.
