UPDATE: Suspect In February Spokane Valley Shooting Arrested

UPDATE: Terrance Jones, 26, has been arrested in connection with the Evergreen and Indiana shooting on Feb. 21, 2013.

Jones has been booked on First Degree Assault charges.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - There has been an arrest in a recent shooting.

Law enforcement officials are not saying which shooting this arrest is related to.

Just before 8:00pm Thursday, law enforcement officers and members of the gang unit task force responded to a silver sedan at the westbound I-90 exit at Broadway Avenue.

A male in the sedan was arrested. A woman and baby were also in the sedan, but not taken into custody.

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Thursday evening at approximately 7:15 p.m., Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on I-90 in the area of Broadway Ave.  During the traffic stop, the suspect in the shooting that occurred on February 21st in the area of the Indiana and Evergreen, 26-year-old Terrance R. Jones, was taken into custody without incident. 
 
Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies as well as units from the Spokane Police Department and the Washington State Patrol assisted during this incident
 
Members of the Spokane Violent Crime Gang Enforcement Team (SVCGET) were immediately notified and responded to the scene.
 
Jones was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for felony Assault 1st Degree.
 
The investigation continues and additional charges may be filed at a later date.
 
The SVCGET is comprised of deputies from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, Spokane Police Department, the U.S. Border Patrol, Washington State Patrol, state Department of Corrections, the FBI, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
