Lincoln City Police Surround Hotel in Search for Murder Suspect

Posted: Updated:

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. - Police in Lincoln City believe the man who the King County Sheriff's Office says killed his grandparents, may be in a hotel on the central Oregon coast.

The King County Sheriff's Department says Lincoln City Police are surrounding a hotel, where they believe 26-year-old Michael "Chadd" Boysen is.

Deputies say Boysen killed his grandparents in their Renton home between Friday night and Saturday morning, after they picked him up from prison, where he was serving a burglary sentence.

Deputies say Boysen has previously threatened members of his family and law enforcement, and investigators say he recently searched for gun shows online.

Deputies describe Boysen as white, 5'7", about 170 pounds, possibly driving his grandparents' red 2001 Chrysler 300 with Washington license plate 046-XXU.
