RICHLAND, Wash. - Construction at the Innovation Center Apartments is on schedule. Crews are currently in the first phase of the project, located in the Research District.
The 80-unit project cost $9.5 million and will feature one and two bedroom apartments. The apartments are centrally located near WSU, PNNL and major Hanford offices.
"These apartments will make it very convenient for people who want to be close to work or close to the university and the Wine Science Center," said Kevin O'Rorke, an Innovation Center broker. "There's a lot of development going on out there, so it's exciting," he continued.
The Innovation Center broke ground on the property in September. The apartments are expected to be completed by Fall 2013.
