Gonzaga baseball drops finale in Hawaii

The Gonzaga baseball team dropped its finale in Hawaii, 2-0, on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs took three of four against Hawaii.

The only runs to cross the plate on Tuesday came in the third inning on a pair of RBI singles by Stephen Ventimilia and Marc Flores. Matt Cooper pitched a three-hit shutout for the Rainbow Warriors.

Billy Moon started for the Bulldogs, but lasted just 2 1/3 innings, giving up two runs on six hits. Mitchell Gunsolus had two of Gonzaga's three hits.

Gonzaga is back in action on Friday with the first of a three game series against San Francisco in Spokane.
