Kamiakin Students win WA Real World Design Competition

Kennewick, Wash. – Six students at Kamiakin High School have won the Washington State Real World Design Governor's Challenge.

Team members Kyle Detherage, Devin Gerboth, Joe Luey, Paul Pierson, Robin Rakowski and Sangeetha Thevuthasan will fly to Washington, D.C. next month to compete at the National event where they will fine tune their winning unmanned aircraft system design.

The team is coached by local architect, Terrance Casey.
