Curves Holding Food Drive for Local Food Banks

Posted: Updated:

SELAH, Wash.-- Curves Fitness Centers around North America have started their annual "Feed the Need" Food Drive this month.

Until March 23rd, clubs will take food and cash donations for local food banks.

The clubs are also waiving the 99-dollar membership fees for people who bring in food or donate 30 dollars to a local food bank.

The Curves in Selah has participated in the drive for the last ten years.

"Well, we look forward to it every year, and we've set a goal for ourselves and... To... You know... Try to meet or beat our goal from last year," said Selah Curves Owner Audean Howell.

The Curves organization will also donate ten percent of its profits from the month of March to the children's charity "Blessings in a Backpack".
