Benton Co. Deputies Investigating Inmate Death at County Jail

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Benton County deputies are investigating the death of a female inmate at the Benton County Jail Wednesday.

Deputies say security officers found the 58-year-old woman unresponsive in her inmate housing area around 10:30 Wednesday morning. They say she has a history of drug use and most likely died from natural causes.

Deputies say an autopsy is scheduled for March 15th.
