KENNEWICK, Wash. - Students at Desert Middle School are taking a stand against cyber-bullying. Students wore black on Thursday to symbolize a blank computer screen.
The demonstration was to remind students to think how they treat people online. The school's leadership class came up with the idea after witnessing bullying in their school.
The black out event also correlates with Anti-Bully Month.
Next week's theme is "Show Some Class, Don't Harass."
