Fever Hold Nebraska Offense Down, Win 44-31

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-Cities Fever didn't disappoint the home crowd as they beat the Nebraska Danger 44-31.

Nebraska came into Friday's game averaging over 51 points in their first two contests. But if was the Fever Defense that got all the attention Friday, keeping Nebraska off the scoreboard in the final quarter.

New starting quarterback Kasey Peters completed 15 passes on 26 attempts for 160 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Peters favorite target was George Bell who caught five passes for 67 yards and three touchdowns. The Peters-Bell connection scored all three of their touchdowns in the third quarter.

The Fever's Keithon Fleming and Steven Whitehead each had a rushing touchdown as the Fever gained 59 yards on the ground.
