Fever showing early improvement

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash. -- Two games down for the Tri-Cities Fever, and there is visible improvement. From game one to game two the offensive flow is better, the defensive pressure is heavy and they are playing smarter. In Colorado the Fever lost the turnover battle and lost the game, but against Nebraska, the Fever won the turnover battle and won the game.

"I think we're getting better. I think our quarterback is seeing more things. He played pretty well. He threw one ill-advised interception that he'd wish he could have back. We got to the point in the game where we got a two-possession lead, and we started running the football pretty well and were able to run some clock," head coach Adam Shackleford said.

"The turnovers were the killer in the first road game against Colorado, so we got to not do that. I think we got three or four turnovers in that game. We can't have that again," quarterback Kasey Peters added.

This Friday Tri-Cities heads to Texas to face the Revolution.
