Gonzaga Vs. Wichita St. Tips Off At 5:40pm Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The NCAA Tournament is on! After a big day of college hoops, Gonzaga now moves ahead to the next round.

This is the first time they earned a No. 1 ranking, and the first time they received a No. 1 seed, and they put that seed to good use Thursday against Southern University.

The Zags took the lead early, but Southern never let the Jaguars get too far ahead. Gonzaga only had a three-point lead at halftime.

The Zags came out strong in the second half, and were able to pull away in the final minutes of the game, pulling out the win 64-58.

The Zags look ahead to Saturday's game against Wichita State. Tip off is set for 5:40pm on TNT.
