OKANOGAN, Wash. (AP) - The Okanogan County sheriff's office says a man who was shot by a deputy Thursday is in stable condition at a Spokane hospital.
    
The sheriff's office say the deputy shot 31-year-old Ronald E. Moore after he killed his father, Raymond Moore, at a home in Okanogan.
    
An arrest warrant for Ronald Moore accuses him of murder and assault.
    
The deputy involved in the shooting is on paid leave during an investigation by the Chelan County sheriff's office and the Washington State Patrol.

On March 21, 2013 at approximately 8:20 p.m. Okanogan County Deputies responded to a domestic violence incident at 56 East Dry Coulee Road in Okanogan.  The initial responding deputy arrived and was met by two adult females who ran out of the residence.  They reported the suspect, Ronald E. Moore, a 31 year old male, was armed with a handgun and shots had been fired.  Okanogan County Special Response Team (SRT) was activated to assist.  Communication was established with the suspect by a hostage negotiator.  After unsuccessful negotiations the SRT made entry into the residence at which time one or more shots were fired.  SRT member Deputy Terry Shrable confronted and fired at the suspect, striking him multiple times.  Deputy Shrable was not injured.  Medical personnel, who were already on scene, immediately entered the residence and determined the victim Raymond Moore was deceased.

Ronald Moore was transported to Mid-Valley Hospital in Omak and subsequently airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.  Detectives made contact with Ronald Moore at Sacred Heart.  Moore's condition is listed as stable.  On March 26, Okanogan County Superior Court issued an arrest warrant for Ronald Moore for First Degree Murder, 2 counts of Assault 2nd Degree with a Deadly Weapon, Theft of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2nd Degree.  Deputy Shrable remains on administrative leave based on standard procedures.  Detectives from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office and the Washington State Patrol are continuing the investigation.

On Friday around 8:20 PM Okanogan County Deputies were called to 56 East Dry Coulee Road reference a possible assault. When the Deputy arrived two adult females ran out of the residence and reported that shots had been fired inside the residence. Inside the residence still was the father and son. Information at the scene was that the father had been shot by the son.

The Okanogan County Special Response Team was called to the scene. They attempted to communicate with the occupants of the residence. When entry was made to rescue the victim, shots were fired by the suspect. The suspect was shot by law enforcement. The suspect was transported to Mid-Valley Hospital, medical condition at this time unknown. The father had been fatally wounded by his son and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is being investigated by the Chelan County Sheriff's Office. At this time the names of the suspect, victim and Deputy involved are not being released. No Law Enforcement Officers were injured.
