TACOMA, Wash. - Deputies say the gunman has barricaded himself inside a home and the area is contained by police. The gunman is believed to have multiple weapons inside the home. The neighborhood is shut down and media helicopters are being held back 3 miles away.
A Sheriff's spokesman said the suspect, a 67-year-old man known to have substance abuse issues, was seen pointing guns at people and firing randomly. No injuries were reported.
No injuries have been reported.
The man is refusing to come out and SWAT is now on scene.
