INET Drug Bust Results In Chase, Stolen Property, Long List Of Charges

Posted: Updated:

PRESS RELEASE FROM GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE:

MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Detectives from Grant County's Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team on Wednesday afternoon arrested a man suspected on a variety of drug related charges which ended in a car chase into Moses Lake.

On Mar. 27, INET detectives, Grant County Sheriff's deputies and Moses Lake Police officers were getting ready to serve a search warrant at 4009 Dusty Street in Moses Lake. The search warrant was based on a seven-month undercover investigation of the sales of Methamphetamine.

Around 2:20 p.m., police saw suspect Edward McIntosh in a white Honda Accord drive away from the Dusty Street home. A deputy tried to pull McIntosh over, but McIntosh refused to stop and officers gave chase. McIntosh stopped the car a short time later and was arrested at Peninsula Drive and Marigold Street. The vehicle was seized as evidence.

Officers then served the search warrant at the Dusty Street home where over 60 pieces of suspected evidence was found. Officers also served a search warrant on the white Honda where several pieces of suspected evidence were discovered, including a stolen .45 caliber pistol.

McIntosh, 53, of Moses Lake, is lodged in the Grant County Jail for suspicion of first-degree possession of stolen property, first-degree trafficking stolen property, conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substance Act, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of Methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug with intent to deliver in a school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony eluding a police officer.

"As you can see from the long list of charges, McIntosh is suspected of committing a huge amount of crimes, and for INET to take him off the street and put him in jail was an important task," said Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones.

The investigation continues.

KHQ.COM - When you party with Jay-Z, just make sure you don't get stuck with the bill.  During a night out in Manhattan, he reportedly racked up a tab totaling $91,135 (tip included) at one bar! How much of that was a tip?  $11,100! Which means his server Dayhana is probably the most grateful the rapper chose to celebrate at the Playroom Lounge in NYC.
