RICHLAND, Wash.- The Richland School board Saturday will sort through the resumes of ten people vying to become the next school superintendent.
Board president Rick Jansons says all candidates are current or former superintendents in other school districts in Washington or out of state.
Jansons says after Saturday's meeting with the search firm, board members will begin to whittle down the list.
"That will be done in executive session, Jansons says. "We're trying to bring forth the best three candidates for those day-long public interviews."
The public interviews will be conducted between April 17 through 19, and Jansons says the school board hopes to hire the new superintendent by April 23 or 24.
