DAYTON, Wash. - An early Easter morning Harley ride turned out poorly for a Dayton man.
The Washington State Patrol said around 7:15 Sunday morning 47-year-old Clark Simpfenderfer, of Dayton, was riding a motorcycle along State Route 261. He was about six miles southeast of Starbuck when a deer trying to cross that highway hit Simpfenderfer.
He was taken to Dayton General Hospital. The facility does not release patient information. No word on his condition.
