Spokane Police Department Press Release:

Spokane Police Detectives are looking to the public to help locate two wanted subjects as well as to identify items recovered from residential burglaries.

Spokane Police Patrol Anti-Crime Team (PACT) Officers developed information that Trevor J. Haugen (11/04/1989) and Zachory J. Davis (02/07/1992) were committing residential burglaries in the Spokane area.  Over the course of several days officers utilizing undercover vehicles maintained surveillance on the two.

PACT Officers were first alerted to the suspects when concerned citizen's reported the two knocking on doors under the guise of soliciting yard work.  Using information garnered by these reports as well as a field intelligence report by an off duty officer, PACT Officers were able to identify Haugen and Davis as the suspects.

Last week, based on surveillance and other investigative techniques, PACT arrested both Haugen and Davis.  Both of them were booked for multiple counts of residential burglary.  Officers executed search warrants on the vehicle they were driving when it was stopped at the corner of Garland and Ash as well as their residence at 1300 block of E. Princeton.

A large quantity of jewelry, coins and other items were found.  The case was turned over to the Targeted Crimes Unit (TCU) of the Spokane Police Department in an effort to match unsolved burglaries with property recovered from the search warrant.  Detectives are now asking for the public's assistance in identifying items that they have not been able to link to previously reported burglaries.  The property will be displayed on the Spokane Police Department's Facebook page (link below).

Detectives ask that if you see any of your items on the SPD Facebook page that you make a supplemental report using your original report number and ask the call taker to attention the report to Detective Madsen of the Targeted Crimes Unit.

Zachory Davis was released on 03-25-2013 on his own recognizance. Trevor Haugen was released on 03-27-2013 due to a clerical error within the Prosecutor's Office.

Since the time of their arrest Detectives have matched some of the jewelry located during the search warrant execution to another burglary.  At this time both Trevor Haugen and Zachory Davis are WANTED for residential burglary.
