State House Releases Transportation Budget Proposals

Posted: Updated:

OLYMPIA, Wash. - The Washington state House released a transportation budget proposal Thursday that is slightly less than the state's Senate proposal.
The budget plan would allocate $8.4 billion over the next two years for road projects.
The proposal includes funding for new projects including continued work on the Alaskan Way Viaduct project, the state Route 520 bridge replacement and creating high-occupancy lanes on Interstate 5 in Tacoma.
