Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. - Friday morning just before 10:30am, fire crews from fire station 4 successfully rescued a man who had fallen into a foundation on the construction site of a home at Hamilton and Sinto near Gonzaga University.

Crews responded after hearing that a 29-year-old man had fallen inside of a foundation and was stuck 10-12 feet down.

The man was stable and alert during the entire time but crews took extra precaution during the technical rescue.

Crews were able to use a special rope to get the man onto a backboard.
