Modified Dolls Group Hosts Pet Adoption Event

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- There's lots of pets in the Tri-Cities that need homes. Saturday, people got to pick out some pooches at an adoption event in Kennewick.

The women's community service group, Modified dolls, partnered with the Benton-Franklin Humane Society and Pet Over Population Prevention for this adoption day.

Dogs of all sizes and breeds showed off their puppy-dog eyes to potential owners.

The event included a raffle and barbeque to raise money for the pet organizations.

"There are lots of pets out here that need homes and I think it's just so important to rescue pets rather than go out and buy pets. There are lots of pets that are wonderful and need a loving home," said Jillian Everett, Modified Dolls.

If you would like to adopt a pet and couldn't make it out to the event Saturday, then you can always adopt one from the Humane Society or POPP.
