"The Rock" Wood-Fired Pizza is Coming to Kennewick

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash., -- An Oregon developer is set to build a 6,000 square foot Rock Wood-Fired Pizza & Spirits restaurant on the corner of Highway 395 and Hildebrand in the growing Southridge area of Kennewick.

H&H Northwest will build the two-story structure for franchisee Brad Loucks of Vancouver, who will own five of the restaurants with the completion of the Kennewick location.

Rock Wood-Fired Pizza and Spirits will feature a vibrant atmosphere decorated with rock memorabilia.  They'll serve up wood-fired pizzas, pasta, burgers, sandwiches and salads and offer its own microbrews and specialty cocktails.

"There's still a lot of space for a lot more restaurants," says Loucks. "Therefore, it just allows us to expand the brand out into a little but smaller market but still large enough to support many of the national brands as Kennewick does."

Rock Wood-Fired Pizza & Spirits has 11 franchises in Washington, Oregon, Colorado and British Columbia.

Loucks hopes to be open by December of this year.
