KENNEWICK, Wash. - A bouncy new business is set to open its doors in Kennewick in just a matter of weeks.
Trampoline parks are a fairly new form of entertainment. There are only about 50 of them in the entire country. But the nation's newest one is right here in Kennewick.
There are no trampolines right now but the frames are mostly in place.
Get Air Tri-Cities will offer 10,000 square feet of bounce space and will include things like a foam pit for stunt practice with an instant replay TV to check those moves. There's also a dodgeball court and a kiddie area for little ones.
"A big, big part of our business is parties so birthday celebrations, sports teams, church events, corporate parties those types of things. We have five large party rooms in the back," said co-owner Sicily Clark.
This isn't the owners' first venture into bouncy businesses, either. They opened one in eastern Idaho about a year ago and said it's doing very well.
Get Air Tri-Cities has high hopes for the Kennewick park which is set to open April 26th.
