PASCO, Wash. - The Society of St. Vincent de Paul St. Patrick Conference is almost ready to break ground on their future Pasco home.

The group is being forced to move from their current location because of the city of Pasco's plans for the future Lewis Street overpass.

The new building will be located on the 200 block of S. 6th Street across from Western Materials.

Sina Pierret, President of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul St. Patrick Conference said, "It's just going to be much more conducive to delivering food to the customers as well as assisting them in the various social programs that we offer."

The new building will include room for a doctor to do wellness checks for customers.

The organization has half the money needed for the new location and is still looking for donations.

They hope to be operating by the end of the year.
