Man Found Dead at I-84 Stanfield Rest Area

UPDATE/STANFIELD, Ore. -- Oregon State Police have identified the 59-year-old man found dead at the Stanfield rest area along Interstate 84 this morning.

OSP says Brian Henderson of Perris, California was found unresponsive and not breathing at the rest area.

Henderson was traveling with his elderly mother when they stopped around midnight Thursday night to get some rest. His mother was taken to a local motel to wait for other family members to arrive.

The cause of death still looks to be a medical problem.

STANFIELD, Ore. - Oregon State Police are investigating the death of a man found in a car at the Stanfield rest area along I-84.

  The cause of death appears to be a medical problem.

  Troopers say the 59 year old man is from out of state, and was traveling with his elderly mother.

  The two stopped late Thursday night for some rest, Stanfield Police and firefighters found him unresponsive about 10:30 this morning.
