Wheels and Wings Ride Helps Young Girl with Cancer

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Biker groups from the Tri-Cities got together for a good cause Sunday.

The Wheels and Wings ride Saturday benefits a three-year-old girl, Bailey Castillo from Benton City who is fighting brain cancer.

The money raised will go to her family to pay for medical bills and travel.

Bailey spent six months at Children's Hospital in Seattle and just moved to Texas for radiation treatment.

"They all get up on their Sunday. They take their afternoon. They put money in the pockets of others. We have the best biker community."

Around 300 riders took part in the ride.

Organizers were hoping to raise some $6,000 for the Castillo family.
